Chaos In The CBD, Henry Wu, International Black & Bradley Zero
For the big finale of Bradley’s XOYO residency, we had to call in the hometown heroes and sign off properly with one of the biggest Rhythm Section line ups that’s ever happened.
The main room sees NZ born, Peckham based Chaos In The CBD take the spotlight alongside the one- and -only Henry Wu.
Both artists have worked long and hard to attain their positions at the top of their respective genres and have garnered worldwide support over the last few years, both having toured America, Europe, Australia and Asia extensively.
Although sitting at different ends of the dance-floor spectrum, both artists broke through to a wider audience with their consecutive releases on Rhythm Section INTL which have both gone on to sell thousands of copies and become bonafide classics.
Since 2015, Henry Wu has evolved into Kamaal Williams; band leader extraordinaire whose collaborations with Yussef Dayes and solo work on his own Black Focus label have made headlines around the world and thrust UK jazz into the mainstream.
Meanwhile, Chaos in the CBD have been causing riots in every club they play whilst slowly developing their jazzy deep house sound into darker, more techno and trance inspired productions on labels like YAM, Mule Musiq and their own imprint ‘In Dust we Trust’.
With these two South London icons alongside RS bossman Bradley, we can pretty much guarantee a night to remember
Taking over the Green room in INTL BLACK mode are FYI Chris, Mallard b2b LT alongside hardware techno purists Phrased. The sub Label of RS INTL describes itself as follows:
"International Black is heads down, arms up.International Black is for your mind, your body and your soul. International Black is late nights and early mornings. International Black is the sound when the lights go off.”
You get the gist.
